Start at Seattle

  We(Spartan and Koron) met at the Seattle Sorrento Hotel which costed $140 each, but it had nice rooms. After checking in, we went downtown to see the Science Fiction Museum and Space Needle. We climbed the Space Needle whose height is 525 feet. We were tired, so we came back the hotel and went to bed early.






 The　next day, we started cycling. My bicycle is a road bike which has a 20-speed gear system, so my speed was 25km/hour on average. Spartan and Koron had road bikes, too. The curvy, winding roads go trough the forest area which we shared with cars, recreational vehicles, and sport cars, so extra caution was needed by cyclists. However, we saw spectacular sites. The stone named Castle Rock, has an interesting shape. When we rode the Oregon coast line, we could see the ocean. We didn't swim, because the water was too cold to swim,but still beautiful.
