The end of our trip

10 June
 We are heading towards Southern California .  The cycling road was very nice. There were many cycling guys on this road. We met new friends. Their names were Brian, Kenny and Rodlfe. They were good at surfing. We had never gone surfing, so they taught us how to surf. It was very difficult for me. But it was very exciting. We enjoyed surfing all day. At the end of day, I was becoming a good surfer. Brian said I had a talent for surfing. Great! Other two friends ( my cycling friends) were not good at it.  They fell off their surf boards and  started to drown. That was too bad. Haha.
I  think I will sleep well tonight.

12 June

Today was a bad day for me. I  bruised my backside. The cause was that yesterday my surfboard hit me. That's too bad. I had pain all day. How was I going to relieve my pain? My friends laugh at me. Oh, my god.
Today was the final day. We had to pedal for 80 miles. I had pain,but I persevered in pedaling.
We stopped at the San Diego Zoo. But I couldn't see any animals because I couldn't move  due to the pain.

Finally, we reached  the Border Field State Park. We were very impressed.
When we reached it , we tried to jump the border.  But the soldiers came to us and scolded us strictly. It was an unlucky. The last time was too bad, but I am feeling  confident.

I'm done!

  Now my trip is almost done. I'm on the California Beach. Before lunch, I enjoyed suntan. After lunch, I tried surfing. It was very exciting. Look at this picture. It's me. I met many surfer friends. I think this experience was most interesting moment during my bike trip. However, I am running out of my cash. So I should look for kind neighborhood.




  

  I arrived at small town. This town was very calm and nature friendly. Neighbors were kind. One neighbor provided food and place to sleep. We promised helping their work tomorrow. We talked with them until midnight. I love this small town. Maybe after finish this trip, I will prepare to move this lovely town.

  Here is San Diego zoo. There are many kinds of animal. We have happy time in zoo. I like meerkat. They are cute and amazing animals. 

Finally, we reach Imperial Beach Nolf Airport. I feel walking on the sky. I learn lots of things from experience. If I have enough time, I will try other route.

Our last day

 The day before our the last day, we were looking forward to reaching our goal. We were using the cycling road which  was located beside the beach, and this road has a beautiful view and a long distance. We spent a lot of comfortable time there. However, this road was sometimes shared with pedestrians. So we rode carefully around the people.  

 When we reached the beach, which is a famous spot for surfers, I was very tired. I rested at my hotel. During this time, my partners went surfing on the beach. The next day, I recovered.

   

 The final day, when I continued cycling, we met another bike trio. They were all female. We talked about our travel experiences with each other, and had a drink. After two hours, I started to  like one of the members who is Mexican. We decided every one went their separate ways, and after that, we decided our schedule ourselves, and said goodbye.

 The Mexican girl and I went to the San Diego Zoo. We had a wonderful time. In the evening, we (The Mexican girl and I) reached the Border Field State Park which is separated from the Mexico. At night she had to go back to Mexico, so she went and jumped beyond the border. I said goodbye in my mind.

How to San Francisco!!

3 June

Today, we　left from Crescent City. We pedaled on a winding road. The scenery changed from yesterday.
This road had little green and there were many cars and cycling guys.
The weather was hot. I got really sweaty.
Away from the road, we went to the Redwood Forest. The place was  so relaxing.
We lay down on the green. It was very nice. We slept a little.
In the evening, we went to a fruit orchard.There were many oranges. I like fruit.
The owner gave us a lot of oranges. We ate them for dinner.

Now we are staying at a hotel. I will  go to bed. See you tomorrow.....

Last night I had a good sleep.I had a lot of energy.The destination  was San Francisco!
We continued to pedal for a long distance without resting.
Today we saw a car accident. Near San Francisco, there were many cars. Cars crashed.
I was scared. We should be aware of  cars. Safety was a very important thing for us.
In the evening, we got to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a red and long bridge. It was very picturesque. Tonight we will eat a delicious dinner while looking at it.

Going to San Francisco!

  We stayed the second night at a hotel which is located near the coast. We could see the ocean, which was a breathtaking view. We took a bath, and after that we drank all night. The next day, we woke up late in the morning, and we ate breakfast quickly. We started cycling again. The road was very busy, and a lot of cars took over us. However the road had two lanes; the car lane and bicycle lane were separated. It was very safe for cyclists.





  After few hours of riding, we went to the Redwood Forest. There was the biggest tree which I have never seen. After lunch, we went to a fruit orchard which had a lot of  fruit trees. We started to ride again. While cycling, we met another cyclist who came from Montreal in Canada. We spent a lot of time near by the ocean with him, and had a good conversation. In the evening, we started to go to San Francisco. When I saw the Golden Gate Bridge, I was surprised, because the Golden Gate Bridge's color is red! I thought that it was gold.

Meeting nice friend during trip

  We have almost reached the middle of our trip. I am little tired, because the route has become rough. I feel so much vibration. Yesterday, I passed through the Redwood Forest. This forest looked like a dinosaur era's forest. I felt that a dinosaur could appear in front of me right now. In forest, it was very humid but fresh. Now I am in Eureka. This area is a bay area. We met nice girls who go on a trip in the opposite direction. We shared our experience each other. We had good time with them in Eureka.

  I'm on the Golden gate bridge that is an orange color. This bridge is very famous. Many movies show this bridge. San Francisco is one of the best city to live in. This city has harmony between city and nature. The route which connects San Francisco to Santa Barbara has some beautiful bike paths that go through the middle of the sandy beaches. In Santa Barbara, my Korean friend lives there. So we will stay at his house one night.

Start our cycling! Seattle

We(Asian nice 3 guys) took a ferry to downtown Seattle  yesterday. Last night, we stayed at a very nice hotel. We could see Seattle's beautiful city.
Today we started cycling. Today was a nice day for our first cycling. We went to the Science Fiction Museum and Pioneer Square, which were very famous places in Seattle.
We went down winding roads and saw some forest plantations.
The weather was nice.I feel excited and hope that our cycling trip will be a good experience for us.

We got up late because we were very tired. At 11:00 we started cycling.
We went to Castle Rock. We were surprised by this rock. I remembered Turkey. It was like Cappadocia!
We ate sandwiches for lunch. This sandwiches were made by our friends, whom we met last night.
I felt comfortable when we ate under blue sky.
In the afternoon, we went to  the Oregon coastline.
Today was little cold, so we couldn't swim. But we enjoyed it. It was very beautiful place.

We pedaled over 50 miles. It was very tough.But I enjoyed our cycling trip.
